How to Find the Deposit Location Cash App?
To discover a deposit location close to you, use the map in the Paper Money section of your Banking tab.
To accomplish this:
- On your Cash App main screen, tap the Banking tab.
- Choose Paper Money
- Use the search bar to input an address or find a location close to you.
Use the options to receive directions or copy the address into your chosen navigation app once you’ve discovered a convenient location.
What to tell to Merchants and Cashiers
Tell the cashier you want to use your barcode to load dollars to your Cash App when you arrive at the store. If they are unsure how to assist, show them the directions by touching the? on your map.
Hand the cashier the money you want to deposit when the clerk scans the barcode on your Cash App. Your Cash App balance will be updated automatically with the funds. We recommend maintaining a copy of your cashier’s receipt.
Asked to Swipe Card
To make a Paper Money deposit, certain merchants may need you to swipe your Cash Card. To initiate the deposit transaction using Cash App, the barcode must be scanned.
Tell the cashier that they should scan the barcode instead of trying to swipe your card if you’re asked to swipe or insert it for the deposit.
Paper Money Deposit Limits
You can deposit up to $1,000 every seven days and $4,000 every thirty days using Paper Money deposits. Transactions must be at least $5 and no more than $500 per deposit.
The 7-day and 30-day restrictions are based on a rolling 30-day period. If you reach your deposit limit, we’ll send you an email with further information.
ID Verification
As an additional verification step when you deposit cash, certain merchants and shops may ask for your ID. Because your Paper Cash deposit will be made at a store, you must adhere to any policies in effect at that location.
